Custom Fields Value Distribution Widget not working

Scenario: Adding a new "Custom fields values distribution" widget to dashboards is not functioning
Given I have selected the "Custom Fields Values Distribution"
When I drop down the "Property" value
Then I am unable to select a value.
It appears that if this widget has already existed on a dashboard I am able to change the selection; just seems to be effecting it being added as a new widget.

I tried this as well and can confirm Tamara's findings. The widget is unusable when added to a dashboard.
