- Launch a new testrun with a few selected testcases
- In the testrun, click the 3 dots on the top right and click "Edit run"
- In the Tests section, click the Select Cases button to select testcases
Issue: Observe that none of the testcases can be edited from the option.
Issue: In the "Edit run" option, when changing the test run to use tags, none of the testcases in the test run is effected

Hello Imad Majid, Kate Onyshchenko, Halyna Kustova,
We appreciate your detailed observations and understand the importance of streamlining these add/delete flows for clarity.
After discussing internally, we acknowledge the current limitations in the workflow for adding and removing test cases in the Edit Test Run dialog. We understand that the current separation of adding and removing test cases may be confusing.
We will keep this feedback in mind, while exploring options for a more intuitive workflow. We also want to ensure that any changes we make maintain clarity and usability, especially regarding the visibility of test cases with existing results.
Currently, the Edit Test Run dialog lacks visibility regarding the result status of existing test cases within the run. This may present a challenge for users in determining whether to retain or remove a case (based on it's result status - untested / result)
We welcome any additional feedback or suggestions you may have as we continue to refine this aspect of test runs.
Thank you again for your valuable input.

I think it would be logical if in the Edit Test run dialog it would be possible to see what test cases are selected for the test run with the possibility to add/remove test cases. Now you should do it in 2 different places:
- add test cases in the Edit Test run dialog
- remove test cases - one by one in the Test run view.
This is for sure not efficient.

Well, I agree with Imad that intuitively the option "Select Cases" should allow to do both - add and remove, it is very confusing that the flow of adding tests to a run is different from the flow of removing. The same option should allow to do both. Seeing greyed out options for removing tests when editing a run looks like a user does not have permissions or something like that

@Imad Majid When you edit the run to add a tag, you are only tagging the run itself.
Currently you'll have to go into the testcases and update tags individually. Bulk editing of tags in the repository is currently planned - https://qase.canny.io/feature-requests/p/add-possibility-to-change-tags-for-bulk-test-cases

Hi Imad Majid, the "Select Cases" button is only to add cases to the existing run.
To remove cases from the run:
1 - Go back to the run view
2 - Tick the checkboxes for the test cases you want to delete
3 - Click on the "Update selected" button on the upper right
4 - Select "Remove from run"
